Wednesday May 24, 7-9pm — An Evening with HEART

What it Means to Live in An Historic District: The HD from an Irvington neighbor’s perspective.

Speaker: Dean Gisvold is the Land Use Chair for Historic Irvington. Dean has reviewed every Historic Resource Review application for Historic Irvington in the last 6.5 years. He has written responses to nearly 500 applications and has participated in all 7 appeals to the Landmarks Commission.

The Benefits of an Eastmoreland Historic District.

Speaker: John McCulloch is a 4th generation resident of Irvington. He is the owner of McCulloch Construction, a design and remodeling firm. John is also the founder of the McCulloch Foundation whose focus is on historic preservation, affordable housing, and homelessness. He is a staunch advocate for historic preservation and has helped save many historic homes including the Markham House in Laurelhurst.
